Cultural

Tuff Gong International Recording Studio is a professional music production facility in St. Andrew Parish, Jamaica, located on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston. Founded by Bob Marley in 1965, Tuff Gong remains one of the Caribbean's premier recording studios and vinyl pressing plants, producing records for reggae, dancehall, and international artists. Guided tours take visitors through the recording rooms, mixing studios, and the vinyl pressing operation, where records are still manufactured using original analogue equipment. The studio gift shop sells exclusive Tuff Gong merchandise and vinyl releases. Tuff Gong is a pilgrimage site for global music fans and sits roughly 15 minutes from the Bob Marley Museum. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) starting at $110 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi and cold beverages. The 45 minute drive from KIN passes through Kingston to Marcus Garvey Drive.
