Nonsuch Caves & Gardens

Nonsuch Caves and Gardens is a geological attraction in Portland Parish, Jamaica, located in the hills above Port Antonio near the village of Nonsuch. The caves feature cathedral-sized chambers with stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years, illuminated by electric lighting along a guided walkway. Above ground, the nine-acre botanical garden showcases over 200 species of tropical plants including orchids, ferns, and palms, arranged along winding paths with views of the Blue Mountains and the Caribbean Sea. Nonsuch is one of the few cave systems in Jamaica with formal walkways and lighting, making it accessible for most visitors.
