Folly Lighthouse

Landmark

Folly Lighthouse is a historic coastal beacon in Portland Parish, Jamaica, standing on Folly Point at the eastern entrance to Port Antonio's East Harbour. The white cylindrical lighthouse was built in the late 19th century to guide ships navigating the rocky Portland coastline, and remains an active navigational aid operated by the Port Authority of Jamaica. The surrounding Folly Point offers panoramic views of the Blue Mountains, Monkey Island, and the Caribbean Sea. Visitors can walk to the lighthouse through a coastal path from the nearby Folly Ruins, combining two of Portland's most atmospheric historic sites. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Ian Fleming International Airport (OCJ) starting at $465 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi. The 2 hour drive from OCJ passes through Oracabessa, Buff Bay, and into Port Antonio.
