Liberty Hall (Marcus Garvey Museum)
Cultural
Liberty Hall is the former headquarters of Marcus Garvey's Universal Negro Improvement Association in Kingston Parish, Jamaica, located on King Street in downtown Kingston. Built in 1923, the restored building now operates as a museum and multimedia centre documenting the life and global impact of National Hero Marcus Mosiah Garvey, whose Pan-African movement influenced civil rights leaders worldwide. Exhibits include original documents, photographs, and interactive displays tracing Garvey's philosophy from Kingston to Harlem and back. The hall hosts lectures, cultural events, and educational programmes. Liberty Hall is a stop on Kingston's heritage trail alongside the nearby National Heroes Park. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) starting at $110 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi. The 45 minute drive from KIN follows the Palisadoes into downtown Kingston.
