Kingston Craft Market
Shopping
Kingston Craft Market is the largest open-air artisan market in the Jamaican capital, located on Ocean Boulevard along the Kingston Waterfront in Kingston Parish. Dozens of stalls sell hand-carved wooden sculptures, straw goods, leather sandals, Blue Mountain coffee, Jamaican sauces, and locally designed clothing and jewellery. The market is a working craft village where visitors can watch artisans carve lignum vitae wood and weave straw baskets. Prices are negotiable, and vendors are known for friendly banter and cultural insights. The market sits adjacent to the Kingston Waterfront Promenade, within walking distance of the National Gallery and the cruise ship pier. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) starting at $110 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi and cold beverages. The 45 minute drive from KIN crosses the Palisadoes strip into downtown Kingston.
