Galina Point Lighthouse
Historic Site
Galina Point Lighthouse is a historic coastal beacon in St. Mary Parish, Jamaica, standing on a rocky headland near the village of Galina between Port Maria and Oracabessa on the north coast. Built in the 19th century, the white stone lighthouse guided ships along one of the most dangerous stretches of Jamaica's northern coastline. The surrounding point offers dramatic cliff views of the Caribbean Sea, with wave action crashing against the ironshore rock formations below. The lighthouse is accessible via a short walk from the main road and is often combined with a visit to nearby Firefly Estate, Noel Coward's hilltop home. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Ian Fleming International Airport (OCJ) starting at $95 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi. The 40 minute drive from OCJ passes through Oracabessa and Port Maria.
