Font Hill Beach Park & Wildlife Sanctuary
Nature
Font Hill Beach Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected coastal reserve in Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica, spanning mangrove wetlands, a crocodile habitat, and a pristine beach near Whitehouse on the south coast. The sanctuary protects American crocodiles, West Indian manatees, and over 100 species of birds including the Jamaican mango hummingbird. Visitors can walk nature trails through the mangrove forest, spot wildlife from observation platforms, and swim at the quiet Font Hill beach. The park is managed as an eco-tourism site with minimal development, preserving one of Jamaica's last undisturbed coastal wetlands. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) starting at $320 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi and cold beverages. The 2 hour drive from MBJ follows the south coast road through Savanna-la-Mar to Whitehouse.
