Hampden Estate Rum Distillery

Hampden Estate Rum Distillery is one of Jamaica's oldest and most respected rum producers, operating continuously in Trelawny Parish since 1753. Located in the hills south of Falmouth, the estate uses traditional pot still distillation methods and natural fermentation to produce high-ester rums prized by blenders and connoisseurs worldwide. Guided tours take visitors through the production process from sugarcane crushing through fermentation, distillation, and barrel aging in a stone warehouse dating to the 18th century. Tasting sessions feature Hampden's signature funk-forward rum styles. The estate's historical distillery equipment and techniques remain largely unchanged for over 270 years.
