Negril Aerodrome
Landmark
Negril Aerodrome is a small regional airstrip in Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica, located at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach near the village of Rutland Point. Built during World War II as a military airfield, the aerodrome now serves private charter flights and small aircraft connecting Negril to Kingston and Montego Bay. The runway sits parallel to Norman Manley Boulevard, offering arriving passengers views of the beach and the Negril coastline. While most visitors arrive by road from Sangster Airport, the aerodrome provides a faster option for travellers seeking to skip the 90-minute drive from Montego Bay. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) starting at $275 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi. The 1 hour 50 minute drive from MBJ follows the coastal highway west through Hanover into Negril.
