Cinnamon Hill Great House
Historic Site
Cinnamon Hill Great House is a historic plantation estate in St. James Parish, Jamaica, located in the Rose Hall corridor east of Montego Bay. Originally built by the Barrett family in the 18th century, the great house later became the Caribbean home of American country music legend Johnny Cash, who lived here from the 1970s until his death in 2003. The property features period furnishings, Cash family memorabilia, and views of the White Witch golf course and Caribbean Sea. Cinnamon Hill sits adjacent to Rose Hall Great House, and both properties share connections to Jamaica's plantation era. Tours are available by appointment. Aurum Transfers provides private airport transfers from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) starting at $75 for up to four guests, with complimentary Starlink WiFi. The 20 minute drive from MBJ heads east along the coast to Rose Hall.
